Miley only knows that man is called Morris Lawrence and nothing else. She thinks they are not familiar with each other. But every time Miley gets hurt, Morris would show up in a doctor's uniform. Who is this man, exactly?

Chapter 1 Are You Sure You're Not Courting Death

Everyone had a woolly-minded moment, and Miley Smith was no exception. What she did this day would then be an unforgettable experience in her life.

Outside Room 808 in Prosper Hotel, she took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

As the door clicked open, a man's face appeared in her sight. He was indeed like a man who could earn a living by his beautiful appearance. With sharp eyebrows, captivating eyes, and a straight nose, his handsome face was as perfect as a masterpiece under the best plastic surgeon's hands.

She thought it reasonable for a man to have plastic surgery if he chose this job.

"Come on, let me in!" She was a little displeased. This man was topless with only a bath towel around his lower body and seemed to have waited long for her. But he leaned against the door frame and looked her up and down as if she was a thief.

All right, he managed to make himself more attractive this way.

With a pout, she pushed the man aside and staggered into the room for the big soft bed in the middle.

"Come over here!"

She collapsed spreadeagled onto the bed and supported her head with a hand. Then, she crooked a finger at him.

His brows deeply furrowed, he walked up to the bed and looked down at the woman who invaded his territory.

"Who are you?"

His tone was as cold as his eyes. Miley was stunned, but then her smile became even wider. "Oh? You want to know who I am? Do the money boys nowadays all so arrogant?"

Money boys? The man's face was dark with anger.

After a brief gaze at him, she jumped out of the bed and threw her arms around him. Then, she grasped his bath towel and poked his nose.

"Remember, I'm Roy Shawn's fiancée, his future wife. Remember?"

Patting his face with her cold hand, she grinned from ear to ear.

"Roy Shawn? Roy Shawn from Milroy Advertising?" The man gripped her wrist and asked with a frown.

She blinked and said unhappily, "Why do you have so many questions? Are you checking my identity? Isn't it enough to pay you money? Do you have any professional ethics?"

Her lips puckered, she pulled his bath towel away directly.

The man gasped, but then he lifted her chin with a captivating smile. "Mrs. Shawn, are you sure you want to court death?"

"Court death? Good, let me die now."

Miley murmured and stood on tiptoe to kiss his lips.

Feeling her softness with the bouquet, the man lowered down his eyelids and yet remained unmoved. But the next second, she entangled him with her arms just like vines...

She didn't get undressed, from which he could tell she was a conservative type. But her movements were so bold and seductive that he could barely hold it.

"All right, Mrs. Shawn, I can satisfy your need."

With a light laugh, he scooped up the woman who was clinging to him like an octopus and strode to the dreamy bed...

The next day, Miley opened her eyes and was dazzled by strong light. The sun was shining outside, while the room...

It was filled with scents of hormones.

Thinking of what had happened last night, she had a cold shiver and sat up. After looking around, she sighed with relief. To be honest, if she hadn't drunk a bottle of drugged wine, she wouldn't have done this so boldly. Fortunately, that money boy was sensible and had left before she woke up. Otherwise, she would feel more than embarrassed.

Trembling, she crawled out of bed and gave him a negative score in her mind. Why was it a negative one? It didn't mean that he was incapable. Instead, he was so capable that she could hardly stand up now, which made her unsatisfied...

Standing by the bed, she was stunned to notice a red spot on the white sheet. She had maintained her virginity for five years and never expected herself to lose it in this way. How pathetic!

When she calmed down and looked away, she saw a note on the nightstand.

She took it up and soon exploded with rage.

Chapter 2 Betrayal

The note read, "Mrs. Shawn, call me if you need me next time..."

Had she really told him she was Mrs. Shawn? Had she said Roy Shawn's name? She suddenly felt a terrible headache... Why had she been so stupid to drink alcohol and even drug her drink?

She regretted it very much. Since the pain made it hard for her to walk, she sat back on the bed and stared blankly, with the note in her hand. While she was thinking about what to do next, her phone rang.

"Miley, what's wrong with you? Didn't you say you wanted to give your virginity to another man to cuckold Roy? Why didn't you go there last night? Rupert waited an hour for you in Room 708 and didn't see you.."

"Wait, 708?"

The woman on the line fell into silence and then said with certainty, "Yes. What's wrong? Did you go to the wrong room? Did you date a wrong man?"

"No, no..." Miley stammered to interrupt her. "Well, I didn't feel well yesterday."

"Well, what about today? Do you want me to arrange it for you again?"

"No, thanks, Miss Miller..."

Miley hung up the phone immediately. She had lost her virginity to the wrong man! Who was he then? For a while, she just stared at the graceful handwriting on the note, but that didn't help.

Finally, she crumpled the paper, opened the window, and threw it out.

What was done could not be undone. It was useless to think so much. After all, she had said she was Mrs. Shawn. So if someone would get into trouble because of this, it would be Roy Shawn or Winnie Charter rather than her.

After thinking about it for a while, she freshened up and got out of the room to the parking lot. Then, she drove directly to Milroy in the city center.

Walking up to the reception desk, she asked, "Has Mr. Shawn come today?"

Standing straight before Miley, the receptionist showed a strange look as she stammered, "Ye-yes..."

Miley rolled her eyes and didn't say anything. Then, she went straight inside.

Co-founded by her and Roy, Milroy had developed from a small studio to a middle-sized advertising agency well-known in the city. In the first two years of Milroy in its early stage, they had had no time to consider marriage. Now, the agency had scaled up and she wanted to marry, but he...

She could have avoided such a tragedy if she had married earlier: the man she loved had an affair when the time was right.

In the company, Roy was the president and she the vice president, so their offices were separated.

In the past, she hadn't needed to knock before entering his office because he had never closed the door. She could see inside directly.

However, everything was different now. Roy had formed a habit of closing the door, so she had to turn the doorknob every time she went into his office. And today, he went even further. She turned the doorknob, but the door didn't open. Roy had locked the door from inside.

Furious, Miley began banging on the door. The employees didn't dare to look her way, but they were all listening to the noises attentively.

After a while, the door remained locked. Miley's secretary walked over and whispered, "Miss Smith, someone else is inside there."

The secretary was absolutely loyal after serving under her several years. Miley soon understood her secretary's meaning and knew who was inside. Her secretary did so just to save her face. If she laid bare Roy's disloyalty, she would also disgrace herself in the public.

But today, Miley had made up her mind to do so. She was afraid of nothing! Now that Roy was so brazen, why should she be tolerant?

"Roy Shawn, open the door! If you don't open it, I'll kick it!" Miley shouted directly. The employees behind her got excited and craned their necks to get a better look.

Being a woman who did what she said, Miley began kicking the door. Under the third kick, the door was finally opened.

"Miley, what are you doing?" Roy said in a low, angry voice as he pulled her in. Then, he swung the door shut.

His strength was so great that she had a stumble. When she regained her footing, she saw a woman sitting on his seat.

Yes, that was her one-time good friend - Winnie Charter! At this moment, Winnie had blushed cheeks, messy hair, and red, swollen lips. The buttons on her shirt were misdone, exposing her tender skin.

"Roy Shawn, Winnie Charter, are you so sex-hungry? Why must you mate in the office in the morning?"

Chapter 3 Uncontrollable Anger

Roy's face stiffened. "Miley, why can't you be civilized?"

"Civilized? You did such a thing in the office and want me to be civilized?" With a sneer, Miley walked around to behind the desk and dragged Winnie up.

"Who allows you to sit here? The company is mine! The chair is mine! Who gives you the face to sit here?"

Winnie evaded Miley's cold stare and then looked at Roy with her watery eyes.

"Roy, I told you I shouldn't come here. Look, Miley is so angry. I made trouble again. Please don't quarrel because of me. I don't want to separate you. I... It's all my fault. Miley, I'm so sorry. You can curse me or beat me to vent your anger."

Winnie covered her mouth and began weeping. Goaded beyond endurance, Miley raised her hand, ready to slap that blushed face. "Excellent! Then let me give your pitiful face a gentle slap."

But before she could touch Winnie, Roy rushed over to stop her.

He gripped her wrist rudely and stared at her with fury. "Miley, don't go too far. This has nothing to do with Winnie. It's I who want to be with her. I'm done with you! I want to break up with you and marry Winnie! Miley, be realistic, and don't pester me anymore!"

Miley looked at the man she had loved for five years and suddenly felt that everything was illusory. She thought of his sweet talks to her ears and the first time they kissed. Why did everything change in the blink of an eye?

"Miley, listen, I've been with Winnie for a long time. Do you remember your birthday two years ago? Winnie was drunk and you asked me to drive her back. I fell in love with her on that day. I wanted to break up with you, but Winnie begged me not to do so. She's so kind-hearted and doesn't want to hurt you. But now, I can't wait anymore. Winnie is pregnant, and I can't leave her alone. So Miley, let's break up. Don't go on like this! I've made up my mind and won't turn back anymore. I don't love you!"

There was so much information in his words that she couldn't digest it in a short time.

As Winnie's cry echoed in her cochleas, she looked down at that flat belly.

Pregnant? It was so fast... No, not really. They had betrayed her on that night two years ago...

In one scene, she was waiting expectantly for her boyfriend to continue celebrating her birthday. In the other, he was entangling with her good friend on the bed.

The two scenes appeared alternately in her mind, faster and faster, until her last trace of reason was gone.

"Bitch!"

Miley gnashed her teeth and shouted. Fiercely, she lifted a foot and aimed at Winnie's belly.

Subconsciously, Winnie parried the kick with her hand but was still hit into taking a stumble back. The next second, she slumped onto the ground.

"Ah..."

Hearing the howl of anguish, Roy loosened the grip of Miley's wrist and hurried to Winnie's side to hold her in his arms.

"Roy, my stomach... it aches..."

Miley looked down and saw a pool of red liquid under Winnie's bottom.
